Here are some great and at the same time strange quick DIY tips and hacks.

Remove Sweat Stains From White Shirt

Soak the shirt in a bowl filled with one cup of vinegar and two cups warm water for 20 minutes. Squeeze until damp and then lay flat on a towel.

Mix half a cup of baking soda with one tablespoon of salt and one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide to form a paste. Apply this mixture on the stains and leave it to work for at least 20 minutes (longer for very heavy stains).

At the end, throw the shirt in a wash with the rest of your whites.

Take Good Care of Your Jeans

The best way to achieve long-lasting denim is to minimize washing. To clean your jeans, turn the jeans inside out, hand wash with cold water, and allow to hang dry naturally.

If you’re trying to get rid of the smell, try putting them in a zip lock bag and expose them to sub-zero temperatures in your freezer overnight.

Take Wrinkles Out of Shirts

wrinkles

The most effective way to remove wrinkles from your shirt is by using an iron. But that’s not always an option, especially if you’re traveling.

Hang the shirt on the shower rod in the bathroom. Turn the shower on at the hottest water setting. Be sure not to wet the shirt. Leave the bathroom, closing the door behind you. Run the shower for a full minute or two, then go back in and turn it off. Leave the shirt in the bathroom for another five minutes or until the steam dissipates. The heat and steam will release most of the wrinkles in the shirt on its own, but you may have to manually smooth them out by pulling the fabric tight.

Hang the shirt up in a non-steamy room to dry before wearing.

Protect Your Fragrances

fragrances

A lot of us make the mistake of putting fragrances on the bathroom counter, where the heat and humidity from your shower can affect the fragrance’s original scent.

The enemies of fragrance are air, heat and light – and all three are present in your bathroom.

So, keep them in cool, dry and dark places like closets and dresser.

Get Rid of Shoe Odor

Put your smelly shoes into a large resealable plastic bag, close it well, and then put them in the freezer over the night.
